The Xperia 10 VI retains Sony’s signature tall 21:9 display, now upgraded to a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This improves scrolling smoothness and visual clarity. The phone supports HDR content, enhancing color accuracy for videos and games.
Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen3, the Xperia 10 VI delivers stronger processing capabilities compared to its predecessor. The chipset supports 5G connectivity, enabling faster downloads and streaming. Users can expect efficient multitasking, with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Storage is expandable via microSD card.
Sony emphasizes camera performance. The rear setup includes a 48MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Low-light photography is improved through new software algorithms. The front-facing camera uses a 12MP sensor for sharper selfies and video calls.
Battery life sees a boost with a 5,000mAh capacity. Sony claims the device lasts up to two days on a single charge. It supports 30W wired charging, reaching 50% in 30 minutes. Wireless charging is not included.
The Xperia 10 VI runs Android 14 with Sony’s custom interface. Pre-installed apps include Sony Music and PlayStation Link for gaming optimization. The phone retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and IP68 water resistance.
Color options include Black, White, and Sage Green. Sony plans partnerships with carriers and retailers to offer bundle deals. Early purchasers may receive free Sony WF-C700N earbuds in select markets.
A Sony spokesperson stated, “The Xperia 10 VI reflects our commitment to accessible innovation. It brings flagship-inspired features to a broader audience without compromising quality.”
